Job Description

Position:
Part time leading to full time or Full-Time Associate General Dentist with goal of purchasing practice We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused General Dentist to join our well-established, privately owned dental practice. For more than 40 years, our practice has proudly served the community, earning the trust of generations of patients through high-quality, comprehensive dental care. This opportunity is ideal for a dentist who is interested in more than simply joining a practice. It is designed for someone who aspires to become a future practice owner. The practice owner is planning for retirement over the coming years and is seeking an associate who is interested in a long-term relationship with the ultimate goal of purchasing the practice. The current owner intends to remain involved on a part-time basis during the transition and for several years providing continuity for patients and mentorship for the incoming dentist. What You'll Do As a full-time associate, you will provide comprehensive general dentistry, including: Preventive care, and routine examinations Adult and pediatric cleanings Restorative dentistry Crowns and bridges Extractions and other general procedures Diagnosis and development of comprehensive treatment plans Building long-term relationships with patients and helping grow your own patient base This position offers the opportunity to establish yourself within an established community practice while developing a loyal patient following. The Practice Established private practice with over 40 years in the same location Five fully equipped operatories Experienced and supportive dental assistant and front office team Long-standing patient relationships and excellent community reputation Practice owner committed to mentoring and supporting the transition to future ownership Unlike many high-volume corporate environments, this practice emphasizes personalized patient care, clinical autonomy, and lasting relationships. Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who: Is committed to providing exceptional patient care Enjoys practicing comprehensive general dentistry Is motivated to grow professionally and build a long-term patient base Values clinical autonomy and continuity of care Has an interest in private practice ownership Works collaboratively with staff and patients Is licensed (or eligible for licensure) in NY New graduates with a strong work ethic and experienced dentists seeking a long-term ownership opportunity are both encouraged to apply.
Compensation Salary:
$80,000 -200,000 annually, plus production incentives in the future Compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, clinical experience, qualifications, demonstrated skills, and any existing patient following. While the full salary range reflects the potential compensation for this position, offers are typically made within the lower to middle portion of the range, with opportunities for growth based on performance and long-term contribution to the practice.
