Job Description:

The Department of Dental Hygiene at Farmingdale State College is seeking part-time adjunct positions. The position includes clinical faculty responsibilities and/or laboratory and clinical radiology responsibilities. Requirements:

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must hold a current license to practice Dental Hygiene in NYS, along with current certification in local infiltration anesthesia/nitrous oxide analgesia. Significant progress towards obtaining a master's degree in dental hygiene or a related discipline. Master's degree must be completed within two years of hire. Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers. Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills. Minimum of five years clinical practice experience. Current membership in the American Dental Hygienists' Association.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous clinical or didactic teaching experience in dental hygiene. Previous laboratory or didactic teaching in radiology
