In this role, you will provide comprehensive surgical care for patients requiring advanced oral, facial, and jaw procedures. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through precise diagnosis, effective treatment planning, and compassionate patient care. Responsibilities Perform complex oral and maxillofacial surgeries including dental extractions, facial trauma repair, and reconstructive procedures Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and diagnostic imaging interpretation Collaborate with dental assistants and other specialists to ensure smooth workflow during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Manage preoperative preparations and postoperative care to optimize healing and patient comfort Maintain accurate medical documentation, dental records, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations Utilize advanced dental technology such as medical imaging tools to assist in diagnosis and surgical planning Uphold strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution Valid state license to practice dentistry with specialized certification or training in oral and maxillofacial surgery Proven experience performing oral surgery procedures, including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics-related surgeries Proficiency with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for medical documentation and record management Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess complex cases involving pediatrics or general dentistry needs Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and interpretation for surgical planning Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and ensuring confidentiality of patient records Join our team to deliver exceptional surgical care while advancing your career in a supportive environment that values expertise, innovation, and compassionate service.
