Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic dental team as an Endodontist, where you will play a vital role in delivering specialized root canal therapy and endodontic treatments that preserve natural teeth and improve patient outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize advanced endodontic techniques within a collaborative environment committed to exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for diagnosing complex dental conditions, performing precise procedures, and ensuring the highest standards of infection control and aseptic technique. We are seeking a motivated professional with a passion for endodontics and a dedication to enhancing patient health. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose endodontic conditions accurately using medical imaging and dental terminology. Perform root canal therapies, including cleaning, shaping, disinfecting, and filling root canals with precision. Manage dental emergencies related to pulpitis, abscesses, or other endodontic issues with prompt and effective treatment. Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to develop integrated treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Maintain detailed medical records and document procedures in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies. Implement infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety. Utilize dental fabrication tools for post placement or other restorative procedures when necessary. Educate patients on their dental health, explaining procedures clearly and providing guidance on post-treatment care. Experience Proven experience in endodontics with a strong understanding of root canal therapy techniques and dental anatomy knowledge. Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable. Prior experience working in a dental clinic or office environment, demonstrating proficiency in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry as needed. Knowledge of infection control standards, medical documentation practices, and HIPAA compliance. Ability to perform dental extractions, oral surgery procedures, and prosthodontics treatments when required. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical terminology clearly to patients of all ages.
