Duties Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, and root canal therapy. Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions accurately using medical imaging and dental terminology, and develop effective treatment plans. Utilize advanced dental software such as curve and open dental for documentation, scheduling, and medical records management while adhering to HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Execute procedures involving dental implants, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry with precision and aseptic technique. Communicate clearly with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure care to ensure understanding and comfort. Maintain infection control standards through proper sterilization techniques and adherence to OSHA guidelines. Collaborate seamlessly with team members in a four-handed dentistry setup to optimize patient care efficiency and comfort. Requirements Valid state dental license with current certification to practice dentistry. Proven experience in general dentistry within a dental clinic or office setting; familiarity with dental office experience preferred. Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and healthcare diagnosis procedures. Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and oral surgery procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages including pediatrics; experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
