Job Description
Description Smile builderz is a well-established private multi-specialty dental practice located in Lancaster County, PA. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dentist to join our team. Our practice is committed to providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a strong focus on pediatric dentistry.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive dental care to pediatric patients. Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments of patients to diagnose oral health issues. Develop individualized treatment plans and discuss them with patients and their parents or guardians. Administer preventative dental services, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and education on proper oral hygiene. Perform restorative dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, and extractions for pediatric patients when necessary. Implement effective behavior management techniques to ensure a positive and comfortable experience for young patients. Educate patients and their families on proper oral care practices and techniques. Provide emergency dental care and treatment for pediatric patients as needed. Work collaboratively with other dental specialists and healthcare professionals within the practice to provide comprehensive care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment notes. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including infection control protocols and HIPAA guidelines. Stay current with the latest developments in pediatric dentistry through ongoing education and training. Create a warm and welcoming environment to help children feel at ease during their dental visits.Requirements Qualifications:
D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited dental school. Completion of an accredited pediatric dentistry residency program. Active Pennsylvania dental license and pediatric dentistry specialty license. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
