Job Description

Atlas Dental Specialists provides a unique dental experience that blends a rich and established history with an innovative practice model to provide patients with treatment solutions that are both comprehensive and accessible. At Atlas Dental Specialists we are able to provide patients with an array of specialty services including preventative and aesthetic treatments, advanced restorative and endodontic treatment, and dental implants and implant prosthetics. The team at Atlas Dental Specialists is dedicated to delivering detailed, individualized, and comprehensive care to our patients, striving to exceed expectations by providing a compassionate, patient-centered approach to treatment. We are seeking a patient focused General Dentist to help care for our patients in a manner consistent with our values and vision at both our downtown and future Shadyside locations. The ideal applicant would be proficient in general dental services, endodontic procedures, dental implant restorations, and have a desire to embrace the latest in dental technologies including CEREC, 3d printing technologies, cone beam, intra-oral scanning, etc. Essential Functions / Responsibilities Must have the ability to work as a cohesive member as the Atlas Dental Team to provide exceptional clinical care for our patients Exhibit excellent communication skills with patients and fellow team members Display a willingness to learn and adopt new protocols, techniques, and procedures from others Build rapport with patients in an effort to educate them on their dental condition and provide comprehensive solutions to their needs Maintain the highest level of standard of care that has been established for our patient base by providing exceptional clinical dentistryE Ensure confidentiality of patient communications and records in accordance with HIPAA law. Ensure compliance with OSHA, sterilization, hygiene, and dental board procedures. Qualifications Completed GP residency preferred 3-4 years practice experience post-residency preferred Proficient in all aspects of general dentistry including comprehensive diagnosis and treatment planning, handling of emergency patients, root canals, routine extractions, restorative treatments (composites, inlays, onlays, crowns), cosmetics, and dental implant prosthetics. CEREC design, staining, glazing experience preferred CPR Certification Maintains necessary continuing education credits as mandated by the State of Pennsylvania Ability to utilize or learn all aspects of digital dentistry Benefits The ability to work in a well-established, family-owned practice without the worry of management Mentorship from Prosthodontists (owners) in diagnosing and treatment planning, learning new techniques and procedures, etc Weekdays only and no weekend / evening hours Competitive and comprehensive benefits package Malpractice Insurance Reimbursement and/or Coverage Continuing Education Bonus opportunity Potential buy-in opportunity
