clinic days at the Bakersfield Care Center and field days at partner facilities About the Role SNF Dental Care is a mobile dental practice dedicated to bringing the full spectrum of dental care directly to patients who can't easily get to a traditional office. We're seeking a skilled Geriatric & General Dentist for a hybrid role that combines clinical days at our brick-and-mortar Bakersfield Care Center with onsite visits to skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, senior living communities, and other residential and recuperative care settings. It's a role built for a dentist who wants variety, purpose, and the chance to make a real difference for patients who might otherwise go without care. What You'll Do Provide care across all phases of dentistry: cosmetic restorations, routine surgical extractions, root canal therapy, and fixed and removable prosthodontics Perform comprehensive exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning tailored to geriatric and special needs patients Deliver denture fabrication, adjustment, and repair services Treat patients at the Bakersfield Care Center office as well as onsite at skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, and senior living communities Adapt clinical technique and bedside manner for elderly, medically complex, and special needs patients Collaborate with facility staff, care teams, and families to coordinate patient care Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records What We're Looking For Active DDS or DMD with a California dental license in good standing Comfortable and experienced across all phases of general and restorative dentistry Experience with, or strong interest in, geriatric dentistry and medically complex patients Willingness to travel between the Bakersfield Care Center and partner facilities Compassionate, patient, and adaptable chairside manner Reliable and professional, with strong communication skills
