Job Description
Role Overview:
A Pediatric Dentist provides in-office surgical care for pediatric patients in collaboration with a Dental Anesthesiologist. This flexible, part-time position focuses on delivering comprehensive surgical and restorative treatments under sedation, ensuring safe and efficient care.Key Responsibilities:
Perform surgical and restorative procedures under sedation Collaborate with Dental Anesthesiologist to manage case flow and patient safety Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care efficiently and confidently Partner with office staff to maintain compliance and excellent servicePractice Environment & Tools:
Use of DentaPro software, digital x-ray, Panorex units Fiber-optic handpieces and sedation support from Dental Anesthesiologists Support staff for specialists, with ongoing OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management training Accepts various insurance plans, including PPO and out-of-networkQualifications & Skills:
DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited program Completion of a CODA-accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency Active or eligible dental license, currentBLS/PALS, DEA
