Job Description
General Dentist An established general and cosmetic dental practice in Copperhill, Tennessee, is seeking an experienced General Dentist to join its stable, patient-focused team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist who values clinical autonomy, long-term patient relationships, and the ability to practice a broad scope of dentistry. The office has a substantial established patient base and enough demand to support a productive full-time provider. The successful candidate must be comfortable practicing independently, as daily on-site dentist mentorship is limited. Practice Highlights Approximately 8,000-8,500 active patients Approximately 35-40 new patients per month Seven fully equipped operatories Dentrix Enterprise practice-management software Stable and experienced support staff Two dental assistants, Three dental hygienists Dedicated office manager No call responsibilities Strong opportunity for continued production growth Potential partnership consideration after approximately 6-12 months The practice provides general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, implant services, dentures, Invisalign, teeth whitening, and emergency dental care. Clinical Responsibilities Diagnose and treat patients across a comprehensive general dentistry scope Develop appropriate, patient-centered treatment plans Perform restorative dentistry, including crown and bridge procedures Complete routine extractions and basic surgical procedures Provide cosmetic and prosthodontic dental services Restore dental implants Conduct hygiene examinations Educate patients regarding treatment options and oral health Maintain accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff Establish lasting relationships within a close-knit community Experience placing implants, performing endodontic procedures, or completing advanced surgical dentistry is preferred but not required. Training and mentorship for advanced procedures may be available through other experienced providers.
