] Arthur Marshall Inc.•4.5 Knoxville, TN Job Details Temporary 1 day ago Qualifications Dental License BLS Certification DEA License Full Job Description Locum Tenens General Dentist (Mon-Thu) | Knoxville, TN A busy dental practice in Knoxville, TN, is seeking a dedicated General Dentist for a locum tenens maternity leave assignment running from late October 2026 through January 2027. This temporary opening offers an opportunity to serve a diverse patient base with the option for a locum-to-permanent transition. The clinician will be fully supported by two dental assistants and a dental auxiliary team member to ensure optimal chairside efficiency and a smooth daily workflow.

Knoxville, TN 37902
Schedule:
Monday•Thursday (Late October 2026•January 2027)
Hours:
8:00 AM•5:00 PM (1-hour lunch at 12:00 PM)
Patient Volume:
10-12 procedures per day plus hygiene checks
Clinical Scope:
Bread and butter dentistry, composite fillings, stainless steel crowns, pulpotomies, endodontics, and simple extractions
Tech Stack:
Dentrix Ascend Preferred Skills:
Comfort treating Medicaid populations as well as both adult and pediatric patients; 1+ years of post-residency clinical experience preferred
Compensation:

Credentials:
Active Tennessee Dental License, active DEA, and current BLS certification.
Onboarding:
3-4 weeks fast-track onboarding.
