Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality dental services. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures and a strong understanding of dental terminology and practices. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive dental care, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics. Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations. Perform dental procedures such as extractions, root canal therapy, and dental fabrications while adhering to aseptic techniques. Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for patient management and record keeping. Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during procedures. Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license with the ability to practice dentistry in the state of employment. Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and procedures is advantageous. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
