Red Balloon Dentistry for Children | Austin, TX Part-Time | 16-32 Hours Per Week Join Our Growing Pediatric Dental Practice! Red Balloon Dentistry for Children is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and energetic Associate Dentist to join our team in Austin, Texas. We are a pediatric-focused practice dedicated to creating positive dental experiences for children while delivering high-quality, comprehensive care in a fun and welcoming environment. Our ideal candidate is passionate about working with children, excels at building trust with families, and is comfortable providing treatment to patients ranging from infants through adolescence. What You'll Do Our ideal candidate is confident performing a wide range of pediatric dental procedures, including: Comprehensive exams and treatment planning Infant, child, and adolescent dental care Preventive services and patient education Pediatric hygiene evaluations and recare visits Restorative treatment, including fillings on primary and permanent teeth Stainless Steel Crowns (SSC) Pulp therapy and pediatric restorative procedures Simple extractions Emergency dental treatment Nitrous oxide administration Oral conscious sedation procedures Behavior guidance and management techniques Building strong relationships with children and their families Required Qualifications DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school Active Texas Dental License (or ability to obtain) Nitrous Oxide Certification required Oral Conscious Sedation Permit required Experience treating pediatric patients Comfortable managing patient behavior and dental anxiety Strong communication and patient relationship skills Team-oriented mindset and commitment to quality care Passion for creating positive dental experiences for children Preferred Qualifications Pediatric dentistry residency training or significant pediatric clinical experience Experience in a high-volume pediatric dental practice Experience treating children with special healthcare needs Strong proficiency in behavior management techniques Technology & Tools Our office utilizes modern technology to help streamline patient care, including: Dentrix Ascend Practice Management Software Overjet AI-Assisted Radiographic Detection Digital Imaging and Digital Radiography Modern, fully equipped operatories Nitrous oxide and oral conscious sedation capabilities What We Offer An established, growing pediatric dental practice focused on exceptional patient care and long-term family relationships The opportunity to positively impact children's oral health in a fun, child-centered environment A supportive clinical environment that encourages professional growth and continued development in pediatric dentistry Access to modern technology, including Dentrix Ascend, Overjet AI-assisted diagnostics, and digital imaging A practice committed to providing comprehensive care, including nitrous oxide and oral conscious sedation services Competitive compensation with a 90-day guaranteed daily rate and 30% of collections A flexible part-time schedule with 16-32 hours per week , designed to promote work-life balance An experienced administrative and clinical team dedicated to helping providers succeed A collaborative culture that values clinical excellence, teamwork, and compassionate patient care The opportunity to build lasting relationships with children and their families while making a meaningful impact on your community About Red Balloon Dentistry for Children At Red Balloon Dentistry for Children, our mission is to provide outstanding pediatric dental care in an environment where children feel safe, comfortable, and excited about their dental visits.
