DENTIST Position Dentist (Contract) Facility Mexia State Supported Living Center (MSSLC) Reports To Dental Director Compensation $105.00 per hour Schedule Four-day / 10-hour schedule — Tuesday through Friday (after required training) On-Call None — no after-hours call Engagement Contract placement through Flagstar Staffing Position Summary Flagstar Staffing is seeking a licensed Dentist at Mexia State Supported Living Center (MSSLC). Under the supervision of the facility's Dental Director, the Dentist performs a range of patient care duties for individuals living at the Supported Living Center and certain identified individuals living in community-based settings. This includes advanced dental care and treatment to elevate the oral hygiene of all individuals, with a consistent commitment to implementing best and safe practices in treatment. Key Responsibilities Provide dental services for individuals living at the Supported Living Center and certain identified individuals in community-based settings, including advanced dental care and treatment to elevate the oral hygiene of all individuals. Implement best and safe practices in the delivery of all treatment. Provide timely and accurate charting of clinical encounters using the facility's electronic medical and dental records for residents with intellectual disabilities. Develop written treatment plans that include justification for any irreversible dental treatments. Maintain proficiency with computers and electronic health records. Apply experience with digital dentistry to patient care. Work effectively within a team environment while also performing well with minimal supervision. Communicate clearly, stay well organized, and present information effectively. Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet the standards of accrediting agencies — specifically CMS Standards, MSSLC Policy and Directives, and HHSC Standards, Rules, and Directives. Requirements Licensed as a dentist by the State of Texas with no restrictions. Current, unrestricted registration certificate from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Valid National Provider Identifier (NPI #). Submit to HHSC-required drug testing. Submit to HHSC-required fingerprinting. Complete all facility- and HHSC-required training. Comply with HHSC immunization requirements. Abide by Flagstar Staffing's and MSSLC's attendance and leave policies. Abide by all rules, regulations, and policies of HHSC and MSSLC. License, Certification, or Registration Required Current and unrestricted license to practice Dentistry in the State of Texas through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). Current and unrestricted registration certificate from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), maintained throughout the engagement. Copies of CPR certifications must be kept on file. All certifications must be current and remain current for the duration of services provided at Mexia State Supported Living Center. Compensation $105.00 per hour. Assigned Schedule Four-day, 10-hour-per-day schedule. Tuesday through Friday, beginning after required training is completed. No after-hours call.
