Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Orthodontist to join our premier multispecialty group. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in orthodontic treatment, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and improving smiles through innovative techniques. As an Orthodontist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, planning, and executing comprehensive orthodontic treatments, ensuring optimal outcomes for our diverse patient population. This role offers an engaging environment where clinical excellence and patient satisfaction are prioritized. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including dental and facial analysis, to develop personalized orthodontic treatment plans. Utilize advanced orthodontic appliances such as braces, aligners, and retainers to correct malocclusions and improve dental alignment. Collaborate with pediatrics specialist and general dentist to coordinate comprehensive care for complex cases involving oral surgery or prosthodontics. Maintain accurate medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation of treatment progress. Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, and post-treatment care to promote understanding and compliance. Implement infection control protocols using aseptic techniques during all clinical procedures to ensure patient safety. Stay current with the latest orthodontic advancements, including digital imaging technology and dental fabrication techniques, to enhance treatment efficacy. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess complex cases accurately and develop effective treatment strategies. Qualifications DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school. Certificate or Master's degree from an accredited Orthodontic residency program. Active Virginia Dental License (or eligibility to obtain one). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
Pay:
$1,300.00 - $1,500.00 per day
