The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a periodontist. This is a full time opportunity with a busy referral network already developed, as the current periodontist is relocating. The office has an amazing team and all state of the art equipment. They're offering a very competitive compensation and benefits package for the right individual. Duties Diagnose and treat periodontal diseases, including gingivitis, periodontitis, and other gum-related conditions using evidence-based practices. Perform advanced surgical procedures such as periodontal flap surgery, bone grafting, sinus lifts, and dental implant placements with precision and aseptic technique. Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring clear communication of procedures and expectations. Utilize dental imaging technology and medical documentation tools like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix to accurately assess patient conditions and document treatment progress. Collaborate closely with general dentists and specialists to coordinate care for complex cases involving oral surgery, prosthodontics, or endodontics. Maintain strict infection control protocols in compliance with HIPAA regulations and industry standards to ensure patient safety. Educate patients on periodontal health maintenance, oral hygiene practices, and preventive care strategies. Keep current with advancements in periodontal therapy, dental terminology, and medical terminology through ongoing professional development. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree Periodontic residency completed 5+ years of experience as a periodontist Valid state licensure to practice dentistry in the state of Washington. Proven experience in dental office settings with proficiency in dental fabrication, root canal therapy, and dental extractions. Familiarity with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for patient records management. Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control practices, medical imaging techniques, and aseptic procedures. Ability to perform complex surgical procedures including implant placement and soft tissue grafting efficiently. Excellent communication skills for patient assessment discussions and team collaboration within a multidisciplinary environment.
