Job Description

More Smiles Wisconsin (MSW) is looking for a compassionate dentist who has an interest in community health to join our team on a full-time basis. Since 2009, More Smiles Wisconsin, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dental clinic, has been committed to providing affordable dental care to low-income residents in South Central Wisconsin living in Dane and surrounding counties. This is a full-time position (34 hours a week; 8.5-hour work day x 4) and includes a one-hour paid lunch break. Rotating Mondays and Fridays off allowing for a 4-day weekend twice each month. Rate of pay for this position is $100 per hour. MSW offers a fun-filled, caring, and relaxed work environment with lots of opportunities to both mentor aspiring youth dentists and grow your own professional network. Most importantly, MSW is HIGHLY focused on patient experiences and outcomes NOT on hourly production capabilities.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct dental care and treatment for patients including diagnostic, restorative services, and extractions and other services to your level of comfort and capability
  • Provide care in a manner that effectively and positively approaches a patient's needs and concerns; including disabled or special needs patients
  • Maintains and keeps accurate clinical dental records using a paperless dental software charting system
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited dental school with D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree
  • License to practice dentistry in the State of Wisconsin
  • An understanding and compassion for those affected by poverty
