Pay Rate:
$25 per hour Job Summary Alliance Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dialysis Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assisting with dialysis treatments, monitoring patient status, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and disinfect dialysis machines according to established protocols Assist with initiating and terminating dialysis treatments Monitor and accurately document patient vital signs and treatment data Assist with patient transfers and provide support during treatments Reinforce patient education as directed by the nursing team Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality standards Perform Point-of-Care (POC) testing and ensure accurate reporting Provide compassionate, patient-centered care Ensure informed consent is obtained prior to procedures Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members Promote a respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas and equipment Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed Complete additional duties as assigned
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Experience:
Minimum of 3 months of hands-on hemodialysis experience (required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred Detail-oriented with strong observation and documentation abilities
Certifications:
