JLC Services, Inc is a Health and Wellness Organization dedicated to providing specialized care and support to Active Military, Veterans, Law Enforcement, First Responders, and others dealing with Addiction, Anxiety, Depression, Sleep Challenges and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Our mission is to ensure that those who have served their country receive the highest quality of care and assistance. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate eTMS Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission of improving the lives of these service members and others.
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Technician to join our team. The TMS Technician will play a vital role in administering TMS therapy to patients with various neurological conditions, under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider. This position requires proficiency in operating TMS equipment, attention to patient safety, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Patient Care and Treatment:
  • Administer transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy to patients following prescribed treatment protocols.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the treatment session, addressing any concerns or discomfort promptly.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects during and after TMS sessions, reporting any issues to the supervising healthcare provider.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance:
  • Set up and calibrate TMS equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and treatment parameters.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on TMS devices to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or technical issues, coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, including session details, treatment parameters, and patient responses.
  • Document any adverse events or unexpected outcomes associated with TMS therapy.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and medical record standards in all documentation tasks.

Patient Education and Support:
  • Educate patients about the TMS procedure, including its purpose, expected outcomes, and potential side effects.
  • Address patient questions or concerns regarding TMS therapy, providing clear and empathetic communication.
  • Offer guidance and support to patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
5.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate closely with the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and mental health professionals, to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding of treatment protocols and expectations.
  • Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress, treatment adjustments, and interdisciplinary care coordination. 6. Networking
  • Occasionally participate in recruiting activities and events promoting the company and technology.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field (e.g., Nursing, Psychology) preferred.
  • Certification or training in transcranial magnetic stimulation techniques highly desirable.
  • Prior experience working in a clinical or medical setting, preferably in a role involving patient care.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact compassionately with patients experiencing neurological conditions.
  • Proficiency in operating medical equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
