Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Patient Care Technician / Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (PCT/CCHT), where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, supportive environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with patients undergoing dialysis treatments, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with clinical procedures, monitoring patient status, and maintaining a sterile environment to uphold the highest standards of care. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help improve patient outcomes and enhance their treatment experience. Duties Prepare patients for dialysis treatments by verifying identity and explaining procedures clearly and compassionately Assist with setting up dialysis machines, ensuring proper connection and functioning according to protocols Monitor patients throughout treatment, observing vital signs, fluid balance, and overall condition Maintain strict aseptic techniques during all clinical procedures to prevent infection and ensure safety Document patient information accurately in medical records, including treatment details and observations Support the healthcare team by maintaining a clean, organized treatment area and managing supplies efficiently Educate patients on post-treatment care and answer questions to promote understanding and comfort Requirements Certification as a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) or equivalent certification required; relevant experience may be considered for certification eligibility Knowledge of dialysis procedures, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate patient care Familiarity with aseptic techniques to maintain sterile environments during treatments Prior experience or training in dialysis settings preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is valued Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology related to renal function and fluid management Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare team members Demonstrated attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to patient safety Join us in making a meaningful difference in patients' lives through dedicated care and technical expertise. $20.00 - $29.00 per hour
