GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
To work directly with dietary staff in providing dietary services to Birch members.
QUALIFICATIONS
General educational background without high school completion. Honest, dependable, self-motivated, and dedicated to Birch Tree Values and Mission. Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete necessary training to perform essential duties and responsibilities. Assist in preparing and serving meals according to procedures, specified recipes and special diets as indicated. Assist in maintaining sanitary kitchen, appliances and equipment. Ability to use kitchen appliances and follow safety guidelines. Open communication with Dietary Supervisor. The ability to follow directions and assigned tasks with limited supervision. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Regular and punctual attendance is required. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
