Position Summary:

Full Time The Dietary Aid is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen and dish room to support meal service for residents. This role ensures all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized in accordance with facility standards and regulatory requirements (CMS/CDPH). Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dish room, kitchen, floors, and storage areas. Properly store clean items and dispose of waste according to policy. Follow all infection prevention protocols, hand hygiene, and sanitation procedures. Assist dietary team with basic prep tasks and during peak meal times as needed. Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly. Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks and maintain required temperature logs. Adhere to all facility policies including HIPAA, no-smoking, and professionalism standards. Qualifications Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience preferred. Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions in English (Spanish-speaking preferred). Reliable, punctual, and available for weekends/holidays. Must pass background check and health screenings. Food Handler Certificate preferred or obtained within 30 days.

Saturday - Tuesday 11:30AM - 8:00PM
