We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dietary Cook to join our team in providing high-quality meal services in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and production, particularly within assisted living or hospital settings. This role is essential in ensuring that meals meet dietary guidelines while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities Prepare and cook nutritious meals according to established recipes and dietary requirements. Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and served in compliance with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, including cooking equipment and utensils. Assist with food production tasks, including chopping, mixing, and cooking various ingredients. Buss tables and assist with serving meals to residents or patients as needed. Collaborate with dietary staff to plan menus that cater to the nutritional needs of residents. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs for restocking. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any dietary concerns or preferences from residents. Experience •

Qualifications:

•- Dietary experience is preferred but not required - On-the-job training will be provided for those without experience Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within an assisted living facility, hospital, or similar environment is preferred. Knowledge of dietary practices, nutrition, and food safety standards is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, staff, and other team members.
