$ 25 /hour We have a casual, non-benefited position available; working 3, 10-hour shifts per week, day shift, including a weekend day. This is a temporary position filling in for at least a few months. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door for one of the largest employers in the county. Some of the position responsibilities are as follows: Prepares food including but not limited to salads and sandwiches; and provides appropriate portions of food including but not limited to desserts and beverages as per menu/written instructions; Sets up and delivers trays according to diet order and late tray standards; Works on tray line with cold and hot food items; Unpacks deliveries and stock/restocks shelves as needed; Places prepared trays in carriers and delivers carriers to units; Cleans dishwasher daily and delimes dishwasher weekly; Cleans and maintains work area in neat and sanitary condition. Our ideal candidate would have the following qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Previous food preparation experience and knowledge of diet modifications helpful; Neat and clean appearance, hair well groomed, good personal hygiene; Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures; Food Handler's Permit required. Starting wage is $25/hour.
