Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and service of meals in the dietary department, ensuring that food is prepared according to our facility's high standards of quality and safety Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all sanitation and food safety guidelines Assist with food production, including food preparation, plating, and presentation Work closely with the dietary team to ensure that each meal is served promptly and efficiently Ensure accurate labeling, storage, and rotation of food products Participate in menu planning and food waste reduction initiatives Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service to our residents

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required On-the-job training provided; previous experience in food service or healthcare preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills Effective communication and teamwork skills Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods Forklift certification a plus
