This role is essential in providing quality nutrition services to our residents in a clean, safe, and respectful environment. The Dietary Aide will deliver dishes and ensure good sanitary condition in cooking and dining premises.

Schedule:

16 to 24 hours a week 4:00pm-8:00pm Per Diem - As needed. Located in Wilton, CT, conveniently located off the Merritt Parkway, our 148-bed nursing facility, is a leading provider of healthcare services from short-term rehab in the post-acute care realm to long term care. The Dietary Aide must be capable to prepare food following instructions while adhering to all safety and health standards. They must be competent and conscientious with a customer-oriented approach. The goal is to provide excellent food services by following instructions and standards.

Responsibilities:

The dietary aide sets up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order Deliver and collect resident meal trays in a timely and courteous manner The dietary aide prepares meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook The dietary aide will deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms The dietary aide will take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc. The dietary aide discards leftovers and take out garbage The dietary aide cleans food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware The dietary aide stocks ingredients and monitor inventory The dietary aide helps maintain kitchen equipment and appliances Follow sanitation, safety, and infection control procedures

Qualifications:
