$15.00 per hour Join Our Team! Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and hardworking Dietary Aide to join our dietary team. The Dietary Aide plays an important role in supporting meal service and ensuring our residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare, assemble, and set up resident meal trays according to individualized diets and meal tickets. Ensure meals are delivered to residents accurately, promptly, and courteously. Assist with meal service and dining room setup and cleanup. Retrieve meal trays and properly break down trays after meals. Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen duties as assigned. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen, dining, and food service areas. Perform trash removal, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and other cleaning duties. Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and facility policies. Assist with food preparation and service for special events and resident activities. Properly handle food, dishes, utensils, and dietary equipment. Maintain dietary supplies and equipment in a clean, safe, and organized manner. Work cooperatively with dietary staff, nursing staff, and other departments to meet resident needs. Qualifications Previous experience in a nursing home, skilled nursing facility, long-term care, healthcare, hospital, restaurant, or food service environment preferred. Long-term care or healthcare dietary experience is a plus, but not required . Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to follow individualized dietary and meal requirements accurately. Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and sanitation.
