Job Description

Tidewell Hospice , a member of Empath Health in beautiful Southwest Florida, is seeking a CNA/Dietary Aide to work with us in Lakewood Ranch on a full time basis.
Schedule:
8am - 6:pm; Week 1: Sun/Wed/Thurs/Fri; Week 2: Mon/Tues/Sat Since 1980, Tidewell Hospice has proudly served families across southwest Florida with compassionate, dignified care. As a member of Empath Health, we help patients with advanced illness live meaningfully while supporting their families with warmth, expertise, and respect. What You'll Do Is responsible for food purchasing and storage, meal preparation, meal delivery, and maintenance of a sanitary kitchen environment. Undertakes the vital job of meeting the dietary goals and preferences of terminal patients in the hospice house setting. In collaboration with the Clinical Director, Registered Dietitian, and Food Service Coordinator, the hospice CNA/Dietary Aide purchases, stores and prepares attractively presented meals in a sanitary manner, on a timely basis. Ensures the cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment and dietary department area and performs clinical/patient care duties as a CNA. Provides clinical services to meet care needs of patients in the Hospice House as directed by the Registered Nurse. Why Join Empath Health?
