As a Dietary Position, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving nutritious, appealing meals tailored to meet individual dietary needs. Whether you have experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or food service industries, your contribution will help create a warm, safe, and supportive atmosphere for our residents. All positions are paid, recognizing the importance of every team member's effort.
MUST HAVE PRIOR COOKING EXPERIENCE.
Responsibilities Assist in food preparation and meal assembly following specific dietary requirements and safety standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to produce high-quality meals in a timely manner Adhere to strict food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness protocols, including cleaning, sanitation, and bussing duties Manage food handling with attention to proper manual handling techniques and safe lifting practices for heavy items Support dietary department operations by following prescribed menus and nutrition guidelines for geriatric or hospital patients Maintain accurate documentation related to food production, serving times, and dietary compliance Collaborate with nursing staff and dietary aides to ensure residents' nutritional needs are met with compassion and professionalism Skills Proven experience in food production, food handling, or culinary roles within assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry Strong understanding of nutrition principles and dietary requirements for geriatric or hospital patients Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining workplace safety standards Familiarity with basic math for portion control and inventory management Effective customer service skills to interact positively with residents and staff while maintaining professionalism Join us in delivering nourishing meals that support health, comfort, and happiness!
