Dietary Aide The Bristol at Tampa Rehabilitation and Nursing Center - 2.7 Tampa, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time 19 hours ago Qualifications Kitchen health and safety standards Recipe adherence Food preparation for special diets Maintaining an organized workspace Food service health code compliance Food service cleaning Food running Labeling Beverage pouring Food portioning Mops Adhering to dietary requirements Food service carts Food safety sanitizing procedures Assisting food service staff Patient interaction Company guidelines standards in production Entry level Meal assistance Addressing dietary restrictions in food service Full Job Description Dietary Aide Responsibilities Performs a variety of tasks usually not requiring cooking skills in the preparation, service, and clean up for meals served to patients in the nursing center Assists cook as directed by the food service director Prepares and labels nourishments according to center procedures Prepares and portions desserts, salads and other non-entrée foods into dishes; pours beverages Follows production sheets and pre-preparation sheets or guidelines when appropriate Sweeps and mops kitchen floors as assigned Washes dishes and silverware according to dishwashing procedure Puts clean dishes and silverware away Maintains clean, neat, and orderly work areas Does cleaning assignments Takes trash to dumpster if assigned Works on meal tray serving line Reads and follows tray tickets when serving meals Serves meal trays to patient and pours beverages for patients when assigned to dining room Pushes food carts to appropriate patient care areas Communicates with patients during meal times when serving in dining areas Working knowledge of sanitation practices relating to food handling.
