Responsibilities include:

Assist with meal preparation and tray assembly according to therapeutic diet orders Deliver meals and beverages to residents in a timely and courteous manner Assist residents during meal service as needed Collect meal trays and clean dining areas after service Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen and dining areas Properly store food and supplies following food safety guidelines Follow all infection prevention, sanitation, and dietary department procedures Work collaboratively with the Dietary Manager and healthcare team to provide excellent resident service

Qualifications Required:

Dependable with a strong work ethic Excellent customer service and teamwork skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices No healthcare experience?
