Dietary Aide Salary $16/hr + shift differential Job Type Full-Time Up to 40 hours a week Shift and Schedule 8 hour shifts Day shift Rotating weekends Rotating Holidays As a Dietary Aide, you will be tasked with: Preparing meals and beverages as directed by the Dietary Cook. Delivering restaurant-style service by setting up the dining area, taking resident meal-orders, delivering meals, and washing/sanitizing dishes. Reviewing resident's dietary orders and resident preferences to assist in delivering quality, safe-to-eat meals. Making a record of resident eating habits, modified diets, and appetites to mitigate health concerns. Assisting with the cleanliness and maintenance of the dining area/kitchen. Following safe and sanitary food/beverage preparation and service practices. Setting up the kitchen to assist fellow aides/cooks in carrying out their daily tasks. Qualifications Previous food service or preparation experience preferred, but will train Sound organizational skills A professional and courteous demeanor towards all individuals, including those with physical or intellectual disabilities A positive attitude towards dynamic scheduling and personnel needs Must be able to handle and lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, stoop, and bend repeatedly for extended periods of time Reliable attendance
