The Idaho Division of Veterans Services ( IDVS ) has an opening for a part-time Dietary Aide Sr. at the State Veterans Home in Post Falls. This is a temporary State of Idaho position that will work no more than 1,385 hours per year, which resets every year on the successful candidate's date of hire. The employee in this position is expected to work 24 hours per week and is NOT required to have a Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ) certificate. We work hard to be team-focused, to celebrate our staff and to end our workday knowing that we've made a difference in the lives of our residents. In this position the employee prepares, portions and serves delicious and nutritious homestyle meals and snacks for our veterans. The best candidate is a team player who enjoys physical work, masters routine tasks quickly, thrives in a bustling, dynamic environment and enjoys working around elderly residents and serving those who served our country. Employees in the Dietary Department typically rotate shift work, which includes evenings, weekends and holidays.
