Dietary Aide at Discovery Rehabilitation & Living in Salmon, Idaho, United States Job Description

Assist the dietary department in meal preparation and food service
Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
Prepare and cook meals according to dietary restrictions and special requests
Ensure proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized work environment
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
Adhere to all safety and health regulations

Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a similar role is preferred
Knowledge of culinary techniques and knife skills
Familiarity with food safety guidelines and regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
