The Paralegal will collaborate with several attorneys and legal professionals. You will work on a variety of operational legal matters impacting the Primary Care Organization of Humana Inc. The CenterWell Senior Primary Care and Conviva Care Center brands comprise this organization.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of professional concepts and standards, can assist with contracts and transactions and is organized and thorough. The role requires the ability to make decisions regarding one's own work approach and priorities, while effectively following direction.

Required Qualifications
+ Associate's degree and Paralegal certificate
+ Minimum of 5 years of paralegal work experience at a law firm and/or in-house organization.
+ Demonstrated experience supporting attorneys with the management and administration of legal questions.
+ Create mature knowledge of Humana personnel, legal systems, and key client contacts.
+ Knowledge of contractual issues and transactional drafting.
+ Effective interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Professional.
+ Strong organizational skills with the flexibility to manage multiple or competing priorities within designated parameters, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
+ Commitment to contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Experience with transactional work in the health law field with, for example, employment agreements, termination letters, affiliation agreements, lease agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
+ Familiarity with Advance Directives, Medical Powers of Attorney, Financial Powers of Attorney, and other similar documents.
Additional Information
This role is an individual contributor with no managerial duties and is fully remote. You will be report to a Senior Counsel attorney and need to work Eastern or Central hours.
