General Summary:

The Cook/Dietary Aide serves in a dual role that alternates between cook duties and dietary aide responsibilities throughout the work shift. This dual position is responsible for preparing, serving, and delivering food within the convent according to established menus, recipes, sanitary standards, and according to established policies and procedures. Our employees in all departments work together to strive to support the religious life of sisters by contributing to providing a warm and caring convent environment. Education and Experience:

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an institutional food service environment. Experience in an eldercare setting is preferred (e.g. assisted living, long-term care, hospital, or other health care environments). SERV Safe certification preferred. Cook or Prep Cook experience is a PLUS! High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
