Part-time, Monday-Friday 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Some weekend availability required About the Role New City Supportive Living is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team. In this role, you will support our dietary department by assisting with meal preparation and service while helping create a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for our residents. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team setting and takes pride in contributing to the health and overall experience of seniors through quality meal service. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary guidelines Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience working with seniors or individuals with special dietary needs Key Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation and service in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident needs Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including dishwashing and sanitizing surfaces Follow proper food safety, storage, and handling procedures Assist with inventory and stocking of food and supplies Provide friendly and respectful service to residents during mealtimes Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to support a positive dining experience Skills and Strengths As a Dietary Aide, you will use your organization, attention to detail, and teamwork skills to help ensure meals are prepared and served efficiently. Your ability to follow dietary guidelines and maintain a clean environment will support resident safety and satisfaction.
