Job Summary The Dietary Tech plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of food service programs. This position involves working closely with culinary staff and assisting in various tasks related to food handling, production, and sanitation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to providing high-quality support to both staff and customers. Responsibilities Dietary assessments Weight Management Nutritional screening Meal monitoring Follow dietary guidelines and assist in meal planning as needed monitor supplement program Menu planning Dietary changes and RD recommendation follow-ups Skills Strong knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards. Knowledgeable in the principles of nutrition Experience in culinary roles or as a dietary aide is preferred but not required. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and patrons. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
