Hillcrest Home is a clean and inviting Skilled Nursing Facility where you will enjoy coming to work each day. Compensation Overview Hourly Rate:
Starting @ $17.83 per hour (Determined by the union contract available on the Henry County Website) Shift Differential for weekends adds $1.00 /hour Shift Differential for time worked past 2:30pm adds $2.00 .hour

  • We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team in providing exceptional nutrition and dining experiences for our residents.
The ideal candidate will have experience in food production, food handling, and customer service. This role is vital to ensure residents receive nutritious, well-prepared meals in a clean and safe environment. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to the well-being of residents while working in a supportive team environment. Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation and food service according to dietary guidelines and safety standards Serve meals to residents with professionalism and excellent customer service skills Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas Assist with cleaning dishes, bussing tables, and maintaining a sanitized environment Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to prevent contamination Support the dietary department by organizing supplies and assisting with inventory management Help with meal setup, portioning, and presentation to ensure appealing and nutritious meals Adhere to time management practices to ensure timely meal service for residents Assist with special dietary needs and modifications as directed by dietary or nursing staff Maintain a friendly, respectful attitude towards residents, staff, and visitors
  • Job Qualifications
  • Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, culinary arts, dietetics or the food industry is preferred Knowledge of food production, preparation, serving, kitchen equipment and sanitation standards Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Strong time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach towards residents Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment This position plays a crucial role in supporting the health and comfort of our residents through quality meal service.
