Cook Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary requirements Follow proper food preparation, portioning, and serving procedures Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and work area Follow food safety and infection-control guidelines Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food and supplies Work with the dietary team to ensure meals are prepared accurately and on time Dietary Aide Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation and serving Prepare trays according to resident dietary needs Set up and clean dining and kitchen areas Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-control guidelines Assist the Cook and dietary team as needed Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Previous food-service experience is preferred but not required Long-term care or healthcare food-service experience is a plus Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team Ability to follow instructions and resident dietary requirements Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and quality service Come be part of the team at Saline Care Nursing & Rehabilitation and help us make mealtime something our residents can look forward to.
