Job Description
Do you love food and want to be part of a food service team that makes a difference? Washington County Hospital is a Rural Critical Access Hospital in Nashville, IL. Our dietary team assists in preparation of meals for patients, residents, guests, staff, and special functions. You will work alongside our Food Services Manager to bring comfort to our patients and team. This is what you might do on any given day:
- Prepare food for patient/resident according to physician order, special request, and authorized substitution.
- Demonstrate your ability to differentiate between a regular diet and a special diet and provides appropriate food.
- Demonstrate your knowledge and appropriate usage of basic measuring sizes for food preparation and portion control.
- Communicate effectively and listen to needs or requests from patients and staff members.
- Organize and put away stock delivered prior to the end of the shift.
- Complete routine cleaning tasks listed on the cleaning check list as time allows.
Pay:
$15.57 - $21.79 per hourBenefits:
