Full-Time Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) Essential Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to menus, recipes, and therapeutic diet requirements. Assist with food preparation including washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients. Prepare salads, desserts, snacks, beverages, and nourishments for residents. Follow production schedules, recipes, and portion control guidelines. Assist with meal tray assembly and accurate meal delivery. Ensure resident food preferences and special diet orders are followed. Receive, rotate, store, and organize food and supplies using proper food safety procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, dining areas, and workstations. Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils. Remove trash and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Follow all federal, state, and facility food safety and infection control standards. Work closely with the Dietary Manager, Cook, and healthcare team to provide exceptional dining experiences for residents. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Excellent attendance and reliability Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds Knowledge of safe food handling practices Preferred Previous experience as a Dietary Aide, Cook, Food Service Worker, Kitchen Assistant, Line Cook, Prep Cook, or Server Experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, rehabilitation center, hospital, assisted living, or healthcare setting Food Handler Certification (if applicable) Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Enjoys preparing meals for others Takes pride in cleanliness and food quality Works well as part of a team Has a positive attitude and dependable work ethic Wants to make a difference in the lives of seniors every day Apply Today!
