Job Description
Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to support quality dining experiences for our residents. In this role, you will assist with meal preparation and service, follow individual dietary needs, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen and dining area. You'll plate and deliver meals, help with dishwashing and restocking, and interact warmly with residents, families, and teammates. This position is ideal for those who enjoy serving seniors, working in a close-knit, resident-centered environment, and contributing to comfort, dignity, and quality of life every day. Responsibilities Assist with preparation, plating, and service of meals following menus and recipes Support resident-specific dietary needs, textures, and portion guidelines as directed Serve meals in the dining room and to resident rooms with courteous, respectful service Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and dining areas, including dishwashing and sanitizing Follow all food safety, infection control, and sanitation procedures and regulations Monitor stock levels; assist with receiving, labeling, and storing food and supplies Communicate resident preferences, concerns, and changes in appetite to nursing and dietary leadership Work collaboratively with nursing, caregivers, and other staff to support a positive dining experience Assist with setup and cleanup for meals and special events or activities Uphold Americare Senior Living's resident-centered values of dignity, respect, and compassion.
