Summary Join Watercrest Communities as a Dietary Aide/Cook in our assisted living facility located in South Wichita. In this vital role, you will contribute to creating a warm, welcoming environment by preparing nutritious meals and supporting the dietary needs of our residents, embodying our commitment to compassionate care. Responsibilities Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to residents' dietary requirements. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained. Assist with food handling, meal assembly, and presentation. Support dietary department operations with efficient food production. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas. Collaborate with staff to meet residents' nutritional needs. Manage time effectively to ensure timely meal service. Follow all health regulations and company policies to promote a safe environment. Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles within assisted living or healthcare settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach. Ability to follow detailed dietary instructions. Experience with food handling, serving, and kitchen sanitation is advantageous. Certification in food safety or sanitation is a plus.
