Shift:
12:30PM to 9PM Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide / Food Service Worker to join our team in a locally owned and operated nursing home group serving Western Kentucky. Our focus is on providing nutritious, quality meals that support the health, comfort, and well-being of each resident. The Dietary Aide plays a key role in meal preparation, service, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. Essential Duties Assist with meal preparation and food service in a healthcare setting Serve meals to residents in accordance with dietary guidelines Follow portion control and special diet instructions as assigned Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen, dining, and food prep areas Wash dishes and assist with kitchen organization Support residents during meal times as needed Follow food safety and sanitation standards Work collaboratively with dietary team and nursing staff Qualifications Previous food service or dietary experience preferred (not required) Ability to follow directions and dietary guidelines Strong attendance and reliability Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Willingness to work assigned shifts, including weekends if needed Commitment to respectful, resident-centered service Benefits Competitive pay Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance Paid time off and available benefits package Stable employment with a locally family-owned organization Supportive leadership team and consistent scheduling
