Full-Time Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our dietary department in providing high-quality meals to residents in our long-term care facility. The Dietary Aide plays a key role in ensuring residents receive nutritious, well-balanced meals while maintaining a clean and sanitary dining environment. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals following dietary guidelines and resident preferences Ensure food is presented attractively and served at the correct temperature Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with health regulations Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed Follow special diets and meal modifications based on resident dietary needs Stock and organize food supplies and ingredients Assist in meal delivery to residents, ensuring friendly and respectful interactions Work collaboratively with the dietary team to maintain a positive dining experience for residents
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous food service experience in healthcare or long-term care (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to follow dietary guidelines and safety protocols
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Compassionate attitude with a commitment to resident care
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
