Dietary Aide Job Description Landmark South Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to join our Dietary Department. The Dietary Aide assists with meal preparation, tray service, dining room service, dishwashing, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen and dining areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in preparing and serving meals and snacks according to resident diet orders Set up meal trays, beverages, and nourishments Deliver meal trays to residents and pick up trays after meals Assist residents in the dining room as needed Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining areas, and workstations Follow all infection control, food safety, and sanitation guidelines Store food and supplies properly Assist cooks and dietary staff with daily kitchen operations Follow assigned schedules and work duties from Dietary Manager or Supervisor Maintain a positive and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and coworkers Qualifications Previous dietary or food service experience preferred, but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
