Performs a variety of duties related to meal service, including greeting residents, taking orders, stocking, cleaning and catering. Dining Associate must be aware of all dietary needs or restrictions and must always follow proper sanitation standards. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents, ensuring adherence to dietary restrictions and preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas, following all food safety protocols. Help with the setup and breakdown of dining areas before and after meal service. Collaborate with the culinary department staff to ensure efficient meal delivery and address any patient concerns regarding food. Support the kitchen staff in various tasks as needed, including dishwashing and inventory management. Follow all hygiene and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation. Requirements Experience in a dining room setting preferred. Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on helping patients feel comfortable during meal times. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
