Job Description

As a 96-bed community for adults with multiple sclerosis and other advanced neurological disorders, The Boston Home's population is younger and more stable than many care facilities, with residents often joining the community in mid-life and residing for 20+ years. We offer free parking on a gated campus, high staffing ratios,12 paid holidays, among other benefits. We are conveniently located near Routes 93, 203 and 28, as well as public transportation (walking distance from Ashmont T Station). The Dietary Aide , under the direction of the Food Service Manager and/or Cook, is responsible for performing specific procedures and duties to assist in the cooking, preparing and delivering of adequate, nutritious meals for residents and guests of The Boston Home. Essential job functions may include setting up and clearing dining room, cleaning and busing, preparing tray line, stocking and labeling food and beverage items. This is a part-time 3:30p - 7p shift that includes every other weekend.
