Role:

As a Nutritional Aide at TaraVista, you will assist the Food Service Director with dietary functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures. You will work closely with the facility\'s dietitian and the food service team to ensure meals are prepared, served, and delivered safely and on time. When you join our growing team, you\'re not just taking a job, you\'re making a difference in people\'s lives. This is a part-time, 24-hour per week position, 6:30 AM

• 3:00 PM, including every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the facility\'s dietitian as necessary and implement recommended changes as required
• Follow ServSafe hygiene procedures at all times
• Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Clean work areas and refrigerators/freezers, etc.
• Set up meals, food carts, unit pantries, etc. as instructed
• Assist cook in preparing snacks, sandwiches, tossed salads, and fruit salad
• Deliver/serve food to designated units; stock unit pantries, nursing stations, and water and fruit areas
• Perform dish washing/cleaning procedures and assure that utensils, etc.

Qualifications:

• High school education preferred
• Basic reading and writing skills preferred
• Previous experience in food service preferred
• Strong language, writing, and communication skills preferred

Compensation:

• Hourly pay range: \$17.50 to \$19.27
• Compensation will be determined based on the candidate\'s relevant experience.
